At the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Doedegoe emerged from a hackathon as a movement to encourage acts of kindness driven by genuine care rather than rewards. The project explored guerrilla marketing tactics to inspire people to continue their goodwill beyond the crisis.
Using engagement-focused strategies, Doedegoe leveraged public spaces, social media, and word-of-mouth to spread its message organically. As a non-profit initiative, the project sought to cultivate a culture where doing good wasn’t transactional but an inherent part of daily life.
From anonymous acts of kindness to viral storytelling, Doedegoe proved that small gestures can have a lasting impact—without the need for incentives.
